OIP Beauty: Shine Bright like a Diamond - Highlighters Reviews

Benefit Dandelion Twinkle Mini

When searching for a travel-sized highlighter, look no further than Benefit Mini collections. The Benefit Dandelion Twinkle mini which is available for purchase at Adore Beauty, is a light peach highlighter with warm, orange hints and a brilliant sheen. The shimmer pigments used in the powder was fairly fine, so it didn't look shimmery nor did the powder accentuate my skin's normal surface when blended.

The highlighter should "bestow a sheer, ultra-lightweight surface and delicate radiance" and has a "dandy daydream fragrance" (code for botanical scented, however, it was unpretentious to my nose). The powder felt delicate, finely-processed and it mixed out effortlessly on the skin and gave my skin a glowing sheen. The pigmentation was semi-opaque, buildable or effortlessly sheered out for a more subtle sheen, which made it more adaptable and appealing to me.

SALT BY HENDRIX - ILLUMINATE FACIAL GLOW: DATE NIGHT

With SALT BY HENDRIX ethos being natural and organic, they are known to stay away from synthetic compounds and believing in the power of plants, she crafted solutions with natural and organic ingredients sourced from the Earth and Water, with no nasties added. Furthermore, they have completely nailed it; SALT BY HENDRIX currently has a cult following among Editors, Bloggers and most importantly, real-life individuals (like myself!) who have hyped about astounding skin changes. So let's see if this lives up to its hype? Not Surprisingly, this Illuminate Facial Glow in Date Night made us so happy! It's so lightweight and creamy to blend. It's an all natural highlighter (which I adore) with packaging with the best personality we've seen; (Have you seen their Mermaid Oil!?) It's likely a staple that I would add to my regular routine. My only difficulty with this is my long nails digging into the pot, I needed to use a brush to get the product out (which is more hygienic anyway!). But in saying that, I love the way my skin looks so healthy and plump after using it! A real contender. OIP Rating: 3.5/5

BECCA Champagne Pop

Becca Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed is described as a "soft white gold with pinky peach undertones." It's a lit up, light-medium gold with warm, champagne coloured tones bright enough to be seen from outer space.

This highlighter is anything but a subtle, it is a brilliant and highly pigmented product so if you utilize a light hand if you're not accustomed to looking like a copper pan. Champagne Pop is delicate, blendable, and simple to apply with great pigmentation that can be sheered out or applied at full intensity. I have found that it can stress the skin's surface on occasion, so it relies upon the application to not be too heavy as it can clog up the pores. I like utilizing a fan brush or a fluffy, less thick brush to apply it for a flawless and light look. This is a great highlighter that stays on for longer than 8 hours plus, so great for day to day to wear to work, or even for a fun night out in town.

The Balm Cosmetics Cindy-Lou Manizer

Contained in a slimline small package, this highlighter from The Balm is something each young lady must have. The Cindy-Lou Manizer is one of the Balm's essential products which triples as a highlighter, shadow and shimmer powder. It gives you an unobtrusive pinch of pink to accomplish that barely-there makeup look which is extremely on-trend at the moment. Regardless of whether you're going for easygoing or modern, The Cindy-Lou Manizer will surely be added as part of your makeup bag.

I actually loved using this highlighter as a blush, as it has soft rose undertones, and I blended it into my cheekbones from the apples of my cheeks, so it gives a healthy colour to my complexion. This highlighter also comes with a mirror, so you can apply it with your finger on the go if you're stuck in an impromptu situation where a quick pick me up is required.
