OIP TURNS TEN IN PERTH

Wow, what a decade it's been for us here at OIP. We are humbled to have made it this far and would not have reached this milestone had it not been for our dedicated team of kick-ass creatives, our amazing tribe of vendors and of course our loyal community both here in Australia as well as worldwide. This year, we ventured out West and had to visit our friends in Perth to throw a mini shindig to celebrate hitting the big 1-0!

THE LOCATION

We were greeted by the fantastic staff at Fraser Suites in the heart of Perth CBD, who provided us with a gorgeous blank canvas on the terrace rooftop space to play with. Without limitations, we were inspired by the Italian sorbet colours of lemon, strawberry pink and bubblegum blue. And before we knew it, the creative concept was born. Fraser Suites also provided us with a delicious array of canapés and free-flowing wines from Sandalford Wines to last all night!

THE DETAILS

With a joint effort from Stylish Soirees Perth, who created the EPIC balloon wall, Oh La La Balloon Bar, who provided all the customised jumbo helium balloons, and Favor Lane Party Boutique who provided all the party decorations and partyware for the party.

The florals were also next level with the help of Flower Talk who created the cutest little set up on the faux greenery wall from Halo Events Perth. Flower Talk also created a cute little addition of baby breath bunches on the bicycle from Melbourne Electric Bicycles.

More flower power from Floral State, who provided us with arrangements to decorate the fountain space and Check-in Station, which was provided by the wonderful people from M Events & Hire, who also provided all the pink chairs, white wire bar tables, pink bar stools and Hampton styled lounge sets. Little Pallet Co. also provided the pallet backdrop for the activity stations, the festoon lighting bar, the dessert station tables and the check-in station table.

Etched created all the amazing signage for the check-in station, media wall, cute take-me-home lemon name badges. La La Design created the ice cream wrappers for our gelato cart, ice-breaker questionnaire stickers, social media instructions signage and thank you tags for our goodie bags. Ain't no party though without an Instagrammable floor decal, which was provided to us from the awesome team at Easy Decals.

THE DESSERTS

The sweetest part of the event, besides our Founder Sammy and Hassan's cute mentions of each other in their speeches, was the desserts and boy were they good!! A joint effort from Enchanted Fig Cakes, who brought the best-tasting buttercream cookie sandwiches, lemon tarts, and a lemon themed cake and My Petite Sweets who made the number "10" cookie cake, lemon-shaped iced-biscuits and lemon cake-pops.

THE GOODIES

Our famous goodie bags at this event sure didn't disappoint, our guests left with not one but two lippies from NYX Professional, hand cream from Empire Australia, a voucher from Fearless Activewear, Nail polish from Nail'd At Tiffany's, delicious smelling soap bars from Thank You, foil heart-shaped balloons and discount code from Favor Lane and a lemon cut-out stirrer from Etched. If that's not a goodie bag, then we don't know what is!

THE STATIONS

The fun didn't end there, we also had three activity stations for our guests to interact with. The cupcake decorating station hosted by Enchanted Fig Cakes herself was a sweet hit! The nail art station hosted by Glamour Nail Bar was a popular destination for all the ladies with their OIP customised designs and who could forget That Little Gelato Cart, who provided Rosewater, Nutella, Cherry and Lemon sorbet in waffle cones! Nom nom!

THE TEAM

The biggest thank you to the fabulous vendors who helped us on the day. We are usually behind the lens and not in front of it, so the biggest thank you to Chloe Joy Makeup for transforming us. A huge thank you to Joshua Hew Photography for capturing such gorgeous shots from the day and also to Chris Martin Cinema who captured the essence of the event through video so that we could run around and actually let our hair down and enjoy an event for once!
