The parents-to-be wanted a "non-baby shower" baby shower. April from C.C. Monroe Event Design and her client decided to move away from the traditional baby shower colour palettes and themes. Instead, they designed a monochromatic shower with pops of colour and filled with funny baby catch phrases. Sticking with the "non-baby shower" feel, they steered clear of traditional baby shower games and activities. Guests enjoyed decorating wooden baby blocks as well as creating digital messages of parenting tips to the growing family. For dessert, guests enjoyed a trio of cakes, custom cookies and cupcakes. As a take home gift, guests received champagne infused gummy bears, yum!
