Bubbles Themed Party:
The idea of a Bubble party came to me when we were at an amusement park and I saw a foam machine and bubble attraction. I noticed how much fun all the kids were having both boys and girls and of all ages. I knew then this was the theme. I decided on a color scheme of Blues with a "PoP" of green. As you can see I used that color throughout all the decor and treats.
Decorations:
Some of the key pieces in making this theme work was all the bubble looking props. I used clear plastic fillable ornaments in multiple sizes to hang from the ceiling to mimic floating bubbles. I also had smaller ones that I filled with round candy coated chocolate for one of the party favors... The other was a bottle of bubbles of coarse.
Food:
As far as food, I made sure to select a menu full of round shaped food. We had blue colored sweet popcorn balls, cakePOPs, bubble shaped cookies, gum-balls, meatballs, stuffed potato balls and other delicious round foods.
Games and Activities:
Lastly as far as Activities to keep everyone entertained, I decided on the main attraction being a Bubble Show. The Bubble Lady showed off her bubble tricks and even put each child inside a large bubble. The other Activities included Bubble Art Painting, A bubble machine, A Photo Booth with Bubble signs, A toddler ball pit with Clear balls, multiple sizes of clear beach balls thrown around the backyard and a Bubble exploration table where they could play with scented bubbles, bubble toys, they could make their own bubble wands and experiment with random items to see what shape of bubbles they would make. We even had "no spill" bubble bottles for the little toddlers.
All in All it was a great party and all the kids left happy, full and super tired.
