Creative director and event planner Jason James, transformed Sydney Harbourside restaurant, Flying Fish, into a modern and sculptural Whimsical Winter Forest, to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of the industries’ finest, George Low, owner of Seed Flora.
In this extravagant birthday soirée, guests were transported to a floating forest, consisting of custom-made fringed balloons, nestled amongst a floral palette of deep winter reds, pink hues, silvers and greys.
A floral palette of Cymbidium Orchids, Burgundy Peonies, Magnolia, and Anthurium were showcased within the 10-metre suspended forest, and the "tablescape," created by Seed Flora.
A modern and masculine styling concept was applied to the table set-up, exploring metallic tones and textures, terrazzo placemats, monochromatic details, and masculine accents.
Each guests’ place setting was styled with individual candles, and adorned in personalised ribbons by Loved by Lucy. George’s birthday cake played upon concrete textures and geometric chocolate sails-encompassing an avant-garde feel.
Just look at those colours-truly stunning!
