We got our 60’s groove on and created an epic retro Baby Shower styled shoot with the almost ready to POP Franki from Franki Loves Zara. Our initial concept stemmed from our ever evolving Pinterest board of burnt oranges, peace signs, hippie inspired mummas to be and flower power!
We had the most inspirational ‘Girl Gang’ of vendors for this shoot, everyone was loving the concept and contributed creatively.
Our shoot took place at 10 Balcombe who had a perfect little caravan already set up and waiting to be styled. Clean white walls and rustic beams made the best blank canvas for our Baby Shower shoot.
Making her debut was Marla and Co, Shannon handmade the most amazing Pajaki chandeliers. Complete with colour matched pompoms and tassels, they suited our theme perfectly.
The balloon garland was created by Balloons by Han. Hannah installed the most amazing balloon garland to tie in our colour pallet. This matched in perfectly with the florals by Melbourne Flower Walls. Christina used a mix of fresh, dried and artificial flowers and foliage to create the arrangements for the shoot.
Bridget from A Sprinkle on Top created the 3 feature cakes and peace shaped cookies. There was a square rectangle shag cake, yellow round butter cream cake with floral topper and an orange round butter cream cake with a 60’s geometric pattern. The Flower Child topper was created by Laser Design Company. This finished off the desserts nicely! Jasmine also created some cute flower drink stirrers.
Luisa from Honour with Fete created the cutest round signature picnic style grazing board. She had the most lush cushions, rattan table, ottomans, rugs and matching mustard napkins. These pieces tied in nicely with Franki's throne, a wicker peacock chair from On Trend Event Hire. To complete our styled shoot was a peace shaped sign 'Bloom Baby Bloom' from Amy D Signs.
Franki was dressed in the gorgeous lace Florence dress by Cookies and RY. This piece was brand new; it had classic flowing 60’s sleeves and cute tie up tassels. Was the perfect outfit! Tanya Artistry completed Franki’s look with a naturally glowing make up look and styling her hair with soft curls and a flower crown.
Good luck Franki on your next adventure of growing your Tribe from 3 to 4. Live Wild Flower Child!
