I'm a hobby baker turned business.. been baking cakes in london for 5 years. Recently moved to Sydney, in the last year or so I've been styling dessert tables and parties along with baking cakes!
I have recently opened my new company in Sydney, 2 months ago called DISTINCT SYDNEY... the focus is simple baking and heavy styling!
This party was for my daughter Sarita turning 3!
My inspiration for parties comes mainly from interiors, I like to put my own twist in everything, I try to keep things clean and at the same time create a wow factor - that's my goal every time!
For the backdrop used in this party I painted a simple board from Bunnings, added Fur pom poms to the garland from a new company I just opened with my older daughter called @tandmdesigns selling gorgeous fur pom pom accessories! Got the baby pink roses from the Sydney flower market. I like to pick my flowers at the wee hours of the morning-it's truly satisfying! And I love styling the flowers in the vases too. I baked mini meringues in pale grey pink and blush made hexagon cookies in grey and pink; imprinted my daughters name on just a few. I connected the cookies to embrace the ever so popular hexagon honeycomb effect! The wooden spoons I painted myself to match the theme. I truly love what I do... and I'm a little crazy perfectionist when it comes to designing and presentation! Hope to inspire others the way others inspire me!
