When discussing the event with Creating Beautiful's co-owners Bree and Felicity, they recalled - 'When we met our lovely client (and her gorgeous little boy) she had expressed her love for the colour blue, balloons, florals and desserts! A perfect base to start designing a concept. We threw around ideas on how we would like to display the desserts that was super cool and unique to anything we had seen. As the venue is by the water we knew tropical foliage would work in nicely with the surroundings, so a tropical leaf wall was created. Our balloon obsession continues as we crafted a sculpture-like installation around the green goodness wall. We used varying shades of blue making the backdrop really pop.
We worked with a bunch of talented artisan bakers for the sweet stuff. Picture syringe-stabbed doughnuts, old school vanilla cookies, cake balls and smooth sorbet popstics.
Being a first birthday we styled a play area for the tiny tots using a jute rug and eco wooden toys. Lush blue hydrangea were for the adults to adore, topping off a beautiful first birthday & surprise thirtieth.'vendors
