The Ultimate Girl Gang! - valentine's day styled shoot

Valentines Day this year, for us, is a celebration of love. Whether it’s celebrating with your special boo or having a party amongst your girl gang, doesn’t matter how you do it.

We partnered with our friends at Aus Venue Co and shot at their new pop up playground in Melbourne, Summertime Social. This place has it all for the summertime festivities: live music, custom caravans and huts, food trucks, flowing drinks and an epic outdoor games area!

Oh and did we mention they have a Squealing Pig Rosé Gin fountain, a promo just for V-Day!

Our styling concept was full of colour, fun and summery vibes. Summertime Social did not need much help in the styling aspect as they had heaps of cute furniture and props ready to go. However we did call upon the help of Hannah from Balloons by Han. She created the most amazing roof top balloon garland in the matching Summertime Social colours.

This year for Valentines Day we wanted to celebrate our personal girl gang, so we picked up the phone and asked a few of our faves:

Kate from Kiki Sprinkles, Amanda from Invite me Shop and Mirjana from Torte by Mirjana. The girls brought their own spunk and a lot of laughs to the shoot.

We dressed them in none other than Confetti Rebels! What a match made in heaven, absolutely in love with their slogan tees and heart shaped glasses. We had an abundance of jewellery: Jasmine Fraser supplied they most drool worthy diamond rings and some fun coloured cocktail rings. Kiki Sprinkles also brought along some of her dangling ear candy, so fun! Our models were complete with fresh do’s and make up from Heading Out Hair and beauty.

It wouldn’t be an OIP shoot without desserts. Maddie from Mad about Cakes created a gorgeous buttercream splatter cake, paired with Kiki Sprinkles super cute V-Day themed toppers. Violet and Zara also created some custom Valentines Day themed fondant cookies.
