Charlotte's Glamour Party

Since 1968 Western Australians have raised over $349 million through Telethon to help make significant advances in treating some of the life threatening diseases that face our children today.

Favor Lane, a long-time supporter of Telethon, gifted both of the 2018 Telethon Ambassadors the Ultimate Dream Party Package to help them celebrate their birthdays. Little Charlotte was one of them.

You see, Charlotte was born with Congenital Heart Disease, diagnosed with Pulmonary Atresia with hypoplastic right ventricle. With operations at eight days old, 10 months, 18 months and 5 years old, Charlotte knows the Perth’s Children’s Hospital well.

But none of this has stopped her amazing zest for life and so it was fitting to celebrate her 8^th birthday with a glamour Party inviting all her besties, her parents and little sister.

The party venue was decorated with pastel pink, peach, lilac and blush tones - and a touch of gold glam.

Charlotte and her girl gang enjoyed a nail bar, a photobooth complete with a ‘strike a pose’ neon sign and had a lot of fun posing with photo props.

Dessert was by the talented Niknaks Sweetest Treats who created nail polish bottle cake pops, brushstroke macarons, fudge, lolly encrusted donuts and gold leaf lollipops.

Sweet Daisy May’s made blushing heart cookies and glamorous cupcakes. Made to match the cookies were Favor Lane’s blushing heart napkins.

And who can forget the Sugar and Salt Cookies CAKE! It was almost too pretty to cut.

All of the desserts were displayed on a Candy Cart which was beautifully finished with a cascading balloon garland. There was also a macaron stand, Acrylic Donut Wall, light up number 8 and an adorable custom acrylic name sign and ‘the party starts here’ entry signage to complete the look.

The table setting featured glitter crowns and favour boxes with gold lollipops. The girls also received a personalised gold mirror acrylic name plaque made by XOXO Design.
