VINTAGE BIRD THEMED BABY SHOWER

This adorable vintage bird themed party is sent to us by Kiss Me Kate (Based In Melbourne). I have been a fan of their work for a long time, their dessert tables are always put together perfectly with so much attention to detail, and this one is so no different.

Here's what they had to say about planning this baby shower; This baby shower was styled for Arpee, whose younger sister and mother had planned for her. When I met with the family, they told me that Arpee was expecting a baby girl and briefed me to design a soft pink vintage style dessert table. The brief also asked that I incorporate birds, symbolic with new life, as well as typical baby paraphernalia. The theme took shape a custom designed invitation that featured two birds holding a washing line of baby cloths. This then became the inspiration for the dessert table itself. The backdrop and the cake were modelled directly from the invitation. Dessert highlights included the embossed bird and birdcage cookies, coconut meringue nests and macarons.
