NEW YEARS EVE: COUNTING DOWN TO 2019 WITH OIP!

Out with the old and in with the new! 2018 has been one heck of a year, we have had our ups and downs, successes and failures, but one thing is for sure is that we have learnt some great lessons, made lots of new friends, grown at an exponential rate, laughed a lot, eaten way too many calories, cried like no one is watching but most importantly loved what we do like no tomorrow! It was only fitting to celebrate with some lovely new friends Amy Lee Active and Jessica from Mummy of Melbourne with some old friends at Fargo & Co. (who have a pretty awesome NYE package with plenty of cocktails for those who are interested!) who made it possible for us to look forward to welcoming 2019 with big open confetti covered arms!

FEELING INSPIRED

Inspired by the beautiful hue of the Pantone of 2018 - ultraviolet; we teamed it with some gorgeous soft pinks, lilac and cobalt blue with a hint of gold here and there, we managed to bring it to life before the year was out. Invite Me Shop created the most gorgeous balloon garland in block colours to match our mood board colours that made us project real-life heart eyes! Teamed with the amazing 3 meters high Bangin' Hangins streamer backdrop, custom floral masterpieces of art by Hampstead Flowers, which also dressed the bar from Luna Twelve and the "Sip Sip Hooray" neon from Neon Garden Event Hire, it sure packed such a punch to an already gorgeous natural light-filled venue.

MORE CAKE, LESS TALK

In true OIP style, we are always pushing and challenging our vendors and we did exactly that to Tess from Dessert Stomach! The brief was to create a metre long cookie cake and boy did she deliver? All the lovely ladies present at the shoot wanted to do was eat the delicious cake, topped with cute mini desserts and fresh blooms. Their cake was then served on some stunning plate ware, cutlery and glassware from the Event Merchant Co. It was definitely a glamorous set up for a final hurrah to 2018!

PARTY SEASON SPARKLES

Amy Lee and Jessica are such beautiful ladies, but who doesn't want a little extra pampering? Tanya Makeup Artistry did such an amazing job on their makeup and we had the team from Joey Scandizzo Salon who created such effortless casual and chic waves on them both. But let's admit, it's not hard to make these beauties look this good!

PARTY LIKE A PRO: BEAUTY ON THE GO

And to pack in the girls' beauty pack on the go, were some goodies from Crabtree & Evelyn, hydrating face mists and hydrating hand recovery creams to keep the skin and hands fresh and supple. And when the clock strikes 12, Santé by ENJO's clutches stocked with some of their microfibres make up remover discs, just add water and say bye bye to all the impurities that gets trapped in the skin from all that partying. Too bad it ain't that easy to say bye bye to a killer hangover the next day! We hope that you have all had a great year and let's ring in 2019 with style!
