Teens or tweens can sometimes be difficult to plan a party for, but this very cool 12th birthday party by Paper & Style Co is sure to give you some ideas. We are loving the amazing 3D paper installation as the backdrop, which Di designed and put together herself.
Here's what Di shared about planning this awesome party;
While coming up with ideas for my daughter's party, the colour theme changed many times, but in the end we ended up with black white and gold! My daughter is not your typical girly girl, therefore she gave me strict instructions there were to be no pink frills or bows!! She wanted a no fuss, cool look that was not over styled....kind of just how we like it.
I used props I had on hand and set up in the backyard...with very limited time. I kind of now know the meaning of 'running around like a chooks head has been cut off'! I was racing against the lovely Melbourne weather that was storming right over our heads. Just as I finished setting up, the guests began to arrive, and so did the thunder, lightning and rain!
I snapped the crucial pictures and it was all taken inside. Quickest set up and pack down I have ever done.
The guests had a ball dancing in the rain, eating yummy treats, and at the end of the day that was all that mattered!
