Easter Egg Milk Shake recipe

Needing a recipe idea to try with the kids that are stuck in isolation? The gorgeous Sally from The Party Project created this indulgent Easter egg milkshake. It’s super simple, you can choose the toppings to suit your tastes and you probably have most of the ingredients in your cupboards.

Ingredients:
Chocolate Easter egg
5 scoops Vanilla ice cream
2 tbsp Hot chocolate powder

Toppings:
Mini marshmallows
Mini eggs
Chocolate sticks

Alternative toppings:
Chopped nuts
Dried raspberries
Chocolate chips

Method:
1. Firstly, using a serrated sharp knife cut the top off of your Easter egg. Break up the small top piece of chocolate egg into a small bowl and place in the microwave for ten seconds at a time, until melted, stirring in between.

2. Dip the cut rim of your chocolate egg into the melted chocolate and cover with coconut. Stand the egg up in a little bowl to dry.
3. In a blender place your ice cream and hot chocolate powder and mix until combined. Scoop this into your chocolate egg. Top with marshmallows, mini eggs, chocolate sticks, a straw and enjoy!
