Do you have a loom band fanatic at home? Well get them to feast their sparkly eyes on this vibrant rainbow loom themed party styled beautifully by Sofia of Bistrot Chic to celebrate her daughter's birthday. Hard to believe she put it all together in 3 days.
Here's what Sofia shared about planning this party;
"Mum could you make me a Rainbow Loom Party... pleeeease..." Not what I wanted to hear three days prior to my daughter's birthday! I have already had enough of these rubber bands, we've done it all... bracelets, necklaces, skipping ropes, key chains and now my daughter asks me to style a party using them!!!
After the initial shock, I started to think it wasn't such a bad idea after all! So many colours offered great potential! World Children's Day was 3 days away and I gave in to her wish! Her only request was that I use the rubber bands in as many colours as possible!
I chose 6 colours and started from there. Not exactly the rainbow ones but I loved these colours together. I decided to use a pink striped cloth I had at home, as a table runner and then lot's of white and pops of colour all over. For the backdrop, I sewed some crepe paper streamers, turning them into ruffles with a honeycomb in the middle. For the party activity we made all sorts of rubber band items, no surprises here, but the girls had a blast!
Nelma from Sweet Cakes was an absolute angel and made the rainbow cake, vanilla cupcakes and macarons.
