WE CARROT WAIT UNTIL EASTER!
We decided to have quite an egg-citing day filled with lots of fun for 5 special little kids! Jett, Zara, Eva, Tyler & Amelia were the lucky little ducks who got to explore the magic of Enchanted Maze out in Arthurs Seat for Easter Styled Shoot. We hope that it will inspire you to have some fun with your little ones this Easter.
Dressed to impress, the little munchkins were looking spunky in wardrobe provided from Oobi for the little ladies, and Monster Threads for the little dudes. The hats were provided by Bedhead Hats, as responsible play in the sun is very important! And they rocked the newest kicks from Clarks. They were even provided bags and baskets to do their Easter egg hunt from Mr & Mrs Jones, and the little ladies had cute acrylic earrings and necklaces from Kiki Sprinkles. The day started off with the kids on a magical adventure through the maze. Exploring the different activities hidden inside, the fountain of unicorn drops, the hedge of rainbow sprinkles, the fun arts & craft mushroom garden, the colouring-in chalk floor, the floating desserts, the gallery of balloons and also the mysterious picnic area brought to life by a few special guests.
One of the highlights for the kids was the fun arts & craft mushroom garden and the colouring-in chalk floor, with all the fun art and craft supplies provided by Micador. There was painting, colouring in, chalk play, and lots of fun in the arts and crafts mushroom garden. The kids especially liked the outdoors sensory play and had so much fun that they created art on themselves! Of course, this sensory discovery play isn't meant to be clean, so art smocks from Micador and baby wash was provided by Frankly Eco. (No nasties! So good for the kids and the environment!) so that the kiddies could clean their messy icky little fingers, in order to venture on through the maze and see what was waiting for them on the other side. Once they were all cleaned up, we took them through to the next phase of the adventure: the picnic lunch that was waiting for them. With an Easter summer picnic spin to it, the kids were in for a treat! They were greeted with an array of colourful cushions from The Great Outdoor Cushions, with party ware from Mr & Mrs Jones. Each special child had a customised Bento Box from Stuck On You, with nutritious but also fun foods inside to celebrate a fun holiday. From treats like Easter inspired custom made meringue pops from Mybella Meringues, fruit bars and Easter eggs to healthier treats like organic hot cross buns from Dench Bakery, and a chicken and vegetable melt sandwich. Stuck On You also provided customised puzzles in the children's names as table place cards so they knew where they had to sit (but as if they would listen to that!) Bibelot also provided their new range of surprise Easter eggs which they particularly enjoyed after finishing off their yummy lunches.
After their tasty picnic, they were treated to lots of goodies; from both Events by Alysia who brought the goods in the form of fairy floss and also Beurre Cakes who created the delectable floating desserts in front of the garden hedge (thanks to the plinths from The Event Rental Company for these!) Beurre Cakes made Easter inspired eclairs, tarts, macarons, mini cakes and a bunny themed one-tiered masterpiece cake! But the most exciting parts for the little kiddies (and the bigger kiddies like us!) was of course the variety of different flavours from Halotop Ice-cream.
To tie everything together in the picnic area was some beautiful decorations that always makes the kiddies go WOW! (Us adults too!) No celebration is complete without the customised balloon arch and floating balloons from Blowout Balloons and customised paper flowers from Paper Flower Creations. But what really excited the little ones was the Easter bunny and his trusty sidekick Susie from Little Party Faces coming to provide entertainment by the carrot load! They played music, danced in the sun, skipped, hopped and chased bubbles! The Easter bunny even got a healthy treat from the adorable munchkins and Susie patiently painted each child's face to their imagination's content.
No Easter celebration is complete without an Easter egg hunt! Mr & Mrs Jones provided the signage, and BAM off the little munchkins went, skipping amongst nature to look for their little eggs that brings them so much joy (and a sugar high!) At the peak of it all, the munchkins thought that it was a wrap, but alas we had one last surprise in store for them, hiding amongst the roughage was little trinkets, waiting to be discovered, in the forms of special little gifts, acrylic necklaces for the girls from Kiki Sprinkles, customised name puzzles from Stuck On You and eco-friendly products from Frankly Eco.
All in all, it was a splendid Easter for them all!
